Can Bitcoin Account Be Frozen?

Long story short, there are two types of Bitcoin account you can have. One can be a QT wallet and the other can be a Bitcoin account from Blockchain companies. These companies can include Coinbase, Coins.ph and many others. The benefit of opening an account with them is that you need not install and configure a QT wallet. It saves your disk space and time. However, these companies need to follow compliance such as Know Your Customers (KYC) and Anti-money Laundering (AML) policies.

For many users, this is a turnoff and for others, it can get them in hot water. Users not complying with such policies or for many others reasons can see their Bitcoin account frozen on these platforms. 1. I met someone with Bitcoin of $89,000. He said the market could drop and he wanted to put a hold on his Bitfxameritrade account, but it would cost $2300 to do so. He asked me for the $2300. Is he scamming me?
    Thank you,

  2. My Bitcoin Account was frozen because I could not sign into the account. Each time I tried to sign it shows this message Error. This Account is not Active. Would they unfreeze it? If yes, how many days would it take them to do so?

I did not know sending many bitcoins would make my account to be frozen.

    • Which wallet are you using? It seems that your account was deactivated because you hadn’t used it for a long time. Anyhow, get in touch with the support and they will likely help you out.

  3. Thanks for your reply.

I use the web wallet on the Bitcoinwallet.com. On the first day of this month,I used the same account to send some funds to an external address and then signed out. After some hours, I tried login into my account and I got the error message.
If my account was deactivated as you thought, would it be activated again?
I used my other bitcoinwallet.com account to write the Support but there was no reply from them. I understand that I should use the account to write to the Support but I cannot sign into it and this makes it impossible to use it to send a message to the Support.

Is there any other way I can message the Support?

Thanks in anticipation for your reply.
